I just read on my dash something someone had reblogged about the latest episode about Daenerys. They turned into some show of power of a white woman over savage native brown people.
Oh my fucking god guys it’s a SHOW! First of all it’s entertainment and it’s for face value. Don’t take it so seriously, you’re all reading way to into it.
You know partly why the race issue still exists? Because people make a big deal out of stupid shit like this. What I saw was a woman trying to win back what belonged to her family that was taken away from her.
I didn’t see OH MY GODZ A WHITE PERSON RULING OVER ALL THESE BROWN PEOPLE! Like seriously if that’s all you’re seeing on this show then I feel sorry for you.
For the record I am Mexican so no I’m not white and to me I just didn’t see that. Where some people are getting this from is beyond me. That was a badass scene to me because FINALLY we have a woman who’s taking charge and this issue comes up.
I’m not going to draw it out like some people have because this issue is so fucking stupid to me. I usually don’t get into these kinds of arguments on tumblr, but I saw that and literally laughed because holy fuck guys it’s a show, calm the fuck down.
